5.1 Connected Social Media Accounts (Google/YouTube, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn)
Live-Transcription lets you connect your own social media accounts to publish and schedule the video clips ("Shorts") generated from your content. Connecting an account is always optional and initiated by you. When you connect an account we receive and store, encrypted at rest, an access token and the basic identity of the connected account (such as account/channel/Page name and ID). We use this data exclusively to publish content you explicitly request (an immediate "Publish now" action or a scheduled post you created and can cancel at any time), and to display which account is connected. We never post without your action, never read your private messages or contacts, and never sell or share this data with third parties.
- Google / YouTube: Live-Transcription uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service; Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. We access only your channel's basic identity (name/handle) and the processing status of videos uploaded by the app, and we upload videos to your channel solely when you request it. Live-Transcription's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke Live-Transcription's access at any time in the app (Settings → Social networks → Disconnect) or via your Google Account security settings. Google user data (OAuth tokens and the connected channel's identity) is retained only while the YouTube connection is active, and is permanently deleted immediately when you disconnect the channel in the app or revoke access via your Google Account.
- Meta (Facebook Pages and Instagram): we access the list of Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts you authorize, their names/IDs and Page access tokens, used solely to publish Reels/Stories/posts you request on those Pages/accounts. You can disconnect at any time in the app, or remove Live-Transcription in your Facebook/Instagram settings — Meta then sends us an automated data deletion request and we delete the stored tokens and account records, providing a confirmation code you can use to check the deletion status on this page.
- TikTok and LinkedIn:we access your basic account identity and publish only the videos you request, using each platform's official API. Disconnecting in the app deletes the stored tokens immediately.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data as follows:
- Account Data: Retained while your account is active and for 30 days after deletion
- Audio/Video Content: Processed in real-time and not stored unless recording is enabled. Recordings are stored according to your plan settings
